WHere is a simplified version of a drink found on a new drinks list. It's a batch pre-mixed which is packed with the essence associated with Christmas time, which makes it excellent for hosting a holiday party. Reserve the remaining syrup you can use for morning drinks, puddings, or to mix another batch of bikinis.

Yields 10 guests
Ingredients for the Clementine Cordial (yields 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
Ingredients for the Cocktail (makes 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine cordial (as made above)
A few cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Instructions
For the Citrus Syrup: Place the listed components into a saucepan, bring to a gentle boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. After that, remove from the stove and leave to cool down entirely. Pour into a sealable bottle, cap it keeping it in the refrigerator, it can be stored for up to one month.
Preparing the Premix: Pour every spirits and syrup in a big jug, leave to sit for 60 minutes, then filter it , ideally through a fine cloth, so it's completely strained.
To serve: Add 85ml of your batch mix into your stirring glass filled with ice, gently stirring carefully for one minute until cold. Strain into an chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, decorate with the cranberries adding the final touch using a quick spritz with the mandarin essence over the top.
