Vince Zampella, Has Died in a California Traffic Collision
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful first-person shooter Call of Duty, has died in a vehicle crash in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.
Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.
The celebrated video game developer passed away following his automobile collided and caught fire on a motorway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This represents a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's family, his loved ones, and all those touched by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts said.
